Born on 8 October 1996, Sara Sorribes Tormo is a professional tennis player from Spain. As a player, Sara has a somewhat unique playstyle, as she uses her right hand in regular playtime, but she frequently does a two-handed backhand.

Her career-high ranking came in September 2021, and she is currently ranked as World No. 35. So far, she has managed to win 2 singles career titles and one doubles title on the WTA Challenger Tour.

Getting the love for the sport from her family, Sara’s mother was a passionate tennis trainer, while her dad worked on their family business and used to play football. As expected, her mother introduced her to tennis when she was only six years of age, and Sara has been in love with the sport since.

Her greatest strength is her first serve, as she has a massive success percentage of almost 70%. While her first serves are great, her second serve is also admirable, rounding out to 50%. When playing, Sara loves to be dynamic, and frequently staggers the audience. After retrieving a couple of balls, she has a habit of surprising her rivals and being creative with a tricky shot. Additionally, her favorite shot in-game is volley, whereas clay is her preferred surface.
