Amanda Anisimova is one of the hottest sensations of America’s professional tennis world. She was born on August 31 2001, in Freehold Township, New Jersey, United States.

This emerging star was currently ranked world no. 21 in October 2019. She won her first WTA title at the age of 17. This led to her becoming the third-youngest player to have entered into the top 100 by WTA. 

Tennis Influences

It was Amanda’s sister, Maria, who inspired her to take up the tennis racquet. Maria had been playing tennis long before Amanda’s birth. 

In fact, their parents moved to the USA from Russia so that young Maria could have better opportunities and continue her career as a coach. Maria played tennis at the collegiate level for the University of Pennsylvania. 

In later years, Amanda, influenced by her sister, started playing tennis at 5. Further, in 2016, she played at junior level achieving a career-high ITF ranking of world no. 2. 

Hobbies and Interests of Anisimova

Amanda loves to travel a lot. Her favourite destination is Miami. She also enjoys Italian food and savours delicious dishes on her cheat days.

Currently, this tennis diva is dating Tyler Roos. Tyler is an athlete and a model. He even has acted and appeared in The Amazing Race Australia Season 4. He currently works as a model and is associated with Melbourne’s Brazen Models.
