About Brandon Nakashima

Brandon Nakashima is a professional tennis player from the US. He is a young tennis player who is gaining international recognition and has a rising reputation. Brandon is a relative newcomer to the professional ranks, yet his talent and playing abilities are outstanding. He has won several smaller tennis tournaments and is currently playing in bigger events.

Regarding more of his personal life, his parents Wesley and Christina, are both pharmacists. Brandon’s mother grew up in Vietnam and moved to California at the age of 5. His father was born in California and has Japanese ancestry. A fun fact is that Brandon started playing tennis at the age of 3 with his grandfather. His favourite shot is backhand in the game, his most preferred surface is hard, and his preferred tournament is Wimbledon. His tennis idol is Roger Federer, even though he admits he plays more like Novak Djokovic.Β 

In February 2020, Nakashima was given a wild card to the Delray Beach Open, his first ATP main draw tournament. He advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Jiri Vesely and Cameron Norrie before falling to Yoshihito Nishioka. At the moment, Brandon is not married and doesn’t have a girlfriend. He publicly stated that he’s currently more concerned with his tennis career than being in a relationship. Although he is pretty popular, he is not particularly active on social media sites yet has a good fan club.
