Daria Kasatkina is a tennis player who plays professionally for Russia. She was born on May 7 1997, in Tolyatti, Samara Oblast. 

During junior years, she was ranked world no. 3. She has even won European 16s championships along with a junior Grand Slam title at French Open in 2014.

Later on, she has been a part of elite tournaments, including the Australian Open, Wimbledon, French and US Open. When she was 18 years old, she made it to the top 50 players with a world rank of 32.

Daria was born to Tatyana Borisovna and Sergey Kasatkina. Her mother was a national-level athlete, while her father was a national-level ice hockey player. Her elder brother Alexander played tennis during his spare time. While her parents came with a sports background, it was her brother who introduced tennis to young Daria. 

He even convinced their parents to involve her in tennis gaming. Daria was just six years old when she began playing tennis.

Her family struggled with finances to support her tennis career. When she was 12, they sold their home in Tolyatti to bring in the money needed. After going through a tough phase, she rose to prominence in this sport.

Hobbies and Interests of Kasatkina

Kasatkina loves to travel to new destinations a lot. Her favourite destination is England. During her free time, she tries new games to keep herself busy. Apart from tennis, basketball is also her favourite sport.

Furthermore, she likes to relish Italian food. Her favourite tennis star is Rafael Nadal. The young player has amassed a total wealth ranging from $2 to $5 million through a tennis career and other advertisement contracts.
