Karolina Muchova is a professional tennis player who belongs to the nation of the Czech Republic. She was born on August 21 1996, in Olomouc city of Czech. 

Her career-high singles ranking in the world stood at no. 19. She had made it to the semi-finals during 2021 Australian Open and to the quarter-finals in the 2019 and 2021 Wimbledon tours. 

Tennis Influences

Karolina’s father, Josef Mucha, is a former Czech professional footballer. He was the major influence she had to get into the sports world. It was him who introduced her to the tennis sport when she was only seven years old.

Apart from this, Karolina also tried several sports during her childhood days along with her brother. She was good at handball. However, at the age of 12, she decided to go with tennis rather than handball. 

Growing up, she admired the Swiss tennis pro, Roger Federer. In 2013, she officially turned pro at the age of 17 by participating in ITF Women Circuit. In 2019, she moved to Prague to gain high-level tennis training.

Hobbies and Interests of Muchova

Muchova loves chilling out with her friends and family during her spare time. She loves music a lot. Her favourite pastime includes playing musical instruments. She owns an acoustic guitar which she tries out now and then.

Not much is known about Karolina’s dating life. However, she is friends with Rebel Wilson, the famed Australian actress. Their friendship is considered unlikely by many since they are from two different professions. However, Rebel is often seen at tennis matches of Karolina, cheering and supporting her.
