Dayana Yastremska is a professional tennis player born on 15 May 2000, Odesa, Ukraine. Though young at age, she plays in the WTA Tour, where she has achieved world number 21. Additionally, Yastremska is famous for other titles, including three WTA titles, the Hua Hin Championship and the Internationaux de Strasbourg. 

As that's not enough, she reached the career-best fourth of the 2019 Wimbledon. As one of the most aggressive players, Yastremska is respected for leading the tour with the highest percentage of shots that always brought her opponents down the ranks.

Dayana Oleksandrivina Yastremska is the daughter of Marina and Alexander Yastremsky, a former volleyball player. She was lucky to be introduced to tennis by her grandfather Ivan when she was five years old. She also tried out other sports like gymnastics and swimming before settling on tennis. 

At the age of 7, Yastremska participated in her first tournament and finished in the third position. She always appreciates her parents for encouraging her to go beyond her limits at an early stage. At the moment, she doesn't have a full-time coach, but she initially worked with Sascha Bajin and Olivier Jeunehomme.

Yastremska is an outgoing person and loves hanging out with friends. Unfortunately, the 21-year-old Ukrainian star has been facing doping claims since early 2021. 

According to her ex-boyfriend, he was forced by Yastremska'sYastremska's father to testify in favour of her. If she's found guilty, she risks facing many years outside the court plus her reputation.
