Viktorija Golubic is a professional tennis player from Switzerland who was born on 16 October, 1992. In her career so far, she has won one singles title on the WTA tour, two singles WTA challenger titles, and nine singles and fourteen doubles titles on the ITF Women’s Circuit. 

Viktorija is quite successful, as she has achieved her highest ranking of No. 45 at the global leaderboard in August, 2021. Earlier, she peaked at No. 63 in the doubles classification in January, 2018. Furthermore, Viktorija made her main-drawing WTA Tour at the 2013 Gastein Ladies, where her maiden WTA win was recorded and her second round reached.

Golubic is coached by Dominik Utzigner, who has been her most important tennis influence in her career thus far. Her mother, Vucica Golubic was born in Serbia, and her father, Ignacije Golubic was born in Croatia, but they both have Swiss citizenship. 

Viktorija has a sister named Nataliya, and two brothers, Kristijan and David. She began playing tennis at the age of 5 with her young siblings, and this is how she got familiar with the sport. Her favorite surface is clay and her favorite shot is backhand

Hobbies and Interests of Golubic

In addition to tennis, Viktorija has a passion for languages, as she speaks German, English, Serbian and Croatian. Also, she used to have a thing for martial arts, as she practiced kung fu for a while, though that quickly passed. Viktorija has a big passion for the Harry Potter books, as she has claimed that she has read each of them a couple of times.
